Varsity Team Rally: GOpher a Cure!
The annual Varsity Team Rally event was created in 2011 to raise money for critical early cancer research at the Masonic Cancer Center, University of Minnesota. Since its inception, more than $800,000 has been raised--well on the way to the ultimate goal of $1 million for cancer research by 2020.

Emceed by Stephanie Hansen, My Talk 107.1 Radio Host and Cancer Survivor, this year's event will highlight the Advancements in Precision-Medicine Research using biomarkers to individualize cancer prevention and personalize treatment. Through immunotherapy, chemoprevention and clinical trials, researchers at the Masonic Cancer Center are bringing promising cancer treatments to all Minnesotans--close to home.
Joining the All-Star panel will be The Honorable Jacob Frey, Mayor of Minneapolis, and Lindsey Whalen, Minnesota Lynx Champion and Gopher Women's Basketball Head Coach.
