Dr. Subramanian received his Ph.D. in molecular and cell biology in 2003 from the Center for Cellular and Molecular Biology, Jawaharlal Nehru University, India, and completed his post-doctoral fellowship at Stanford University, Stanford, California. He joined the faculty of the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology at the University of Minnesota in 2007 and studies the molecular mechanisms of tumor development and progression.

Research Interests

MicroRNA mediated gene regulation in human sarcomas; gene expression profiles—developing novel diagnostic markers and identification of therapeutic targets in sarcomas and other cancers.
