Dr. Song received a B.S. in Chemistry from Seoul National University in 1957 and a M.S. in Biochemistry from Korea University in 1959. He matriculated to the University of Iowa where he received a Ph.D. in Radiation Biology in 1964. He joined the faculty of the Department of Therapeutic Radiology-Radiation Oncology at the University of Minnesota in 1970.
