Dr. Jurek received her Ph.D. in environmental health sciences from the University of Minnesota in 2004, an M.S. in biomedical sciences from the Medical University of South Carolina (Charleston), and a B.A. in mathematics from Jamestown College (Jamestown, N.D.).
