Research Interests

Dr. Brandenburg is a psychologist with a background in health psychology. She and her colleagues have received funding through Minnesota Partnership for Action Against Tobacco (MPAAT) to provide face-to-face tobacco cessation counseling, as well as pharmacotherapy to patients at little to no cost, regardless of health insurance status. Dr. Brandenburg has worked clinically with patients with cancer, as well as conducted research in the area of breast and gynecological cancer screening behaviors.
