Laboratory Services

The Laboratory Services Shared Resource is responsible for all aspects of laboratory maintenance, safety and security in the Masonic Cancer Research Building (formerly named Cancer Center Research Building). The services provided include:

  • Glasswashing — Centralized, quality controlled cleaning and sterilizatin of reusable labware.
    • Biohazard waste processing — Sterlization and disposal of biohazardous waste from Masonic Cancer Research Building Laboratories
  • Shared equipment — Technical support and education regarding the operation of shared equipment, as well as oversight and management of these services.
  • Laboratory safety and security — Sets security and building access standards. Provides a Masonic Cancer Center laboratory safety plan and yearly refresher safety training.
