Masonic Cancer Center, University of Minnesota
The Flow Cytometry facility contributes to the University of Minnesota Cancer Center's mission to educate the public about cancer research by demonstrating flow cytometry procedures both on-site at the Cancer Center and in the community.
The Science Museum of Minnesota's permanent Tissues of Life exhibit includes a cell sorter display created by the museum and Flow Cytometry staff.
The Flow Cytometry staff members also provide hands-on demonstrations of its equipment and they show computer animation of cell sorting at the Cancer Center's annual Cancer and the Human Body event at the Science Museum of Minnesota.
