Research Subjects Needed

Researchers from the University of Minnesota Cancer Center are looking for healthy bone marrow donors to participate in a research study examining the use of Multipotent Adult Progenitor Cells (MAPCs) for potential treatment of various diseases.

Donors will be required to undergo:

  • An initial screening, (including questions regarding medical and social history, including some associated with sex life, street drug use, and travel history) and standard blood collection screening.
  • One blood draw to determine eligibility for infectious disease testing.
  • A study protocol consisting of:
    • Removal of a sample of fluid from your hip bone, and perhaps bone marrow tissue.
