Kenneth Koeneman, M.D., is director of the Center for Prostate Cancer at the University of Minnesota.

Experts from the University of Minnesota discussed and answered questions about new and standard therapies for prostate cancer, including robotic surgery, hormonal therapy and watchful waiting; cryotherapy and standard surgery; innovative radiation treatments for prostate cancer; and maintaining bone health in prostate cancer treatment.

The speakers were:

  • Xin Wang, M.D., radiation oncologist

The free events were held at two locations: Maple Grove Community Center (September 28, 2006) and Radisson University Hotel, on the U of M Campus (September 30, 2006).
