Rosemary Gruber

Friends, family, and colleagues of Cancer Center Development Director Rosemary Gruber gathered at a reception January 10 in the Cancer Center Research Building to honor Rosemary's contributions to the Cancer Center and to wish her well in her retirement.

Speakers at the reception included Cancer Center Director Doug Yee, M.D.; Founding Director Emeritus John Kersey, M.D., Associate Director for Administration Mary Sumpmann, R.N.; and Patricia Porter, vice president of development for the Minnesota Medical Foundation.

Rosemary introduced many donors and community members to the Cancer Center in the eight years she was here. Many successes at the Cancer Center have depended on resources she brought to cancer research.

Friends and colleagues from the Cancer Center and the Minnesota Medical Foundation presented Rosemary with gifts, which she opened with some help from her granddaughter. They are pictured with Dr. Kersey (left) and with Dr. Yee and Mary Sumpmann (above).
