This free program will be held 9-11 a.m., Sept. 17, in the Ski-U-Mah Room at the McNamara Alumni Center, 200 Oak St., S.E., Minneapolis. Julie Ross, Ph.D., who leads the Cancer Center 's Prevention and Etiology Program, and Daniel Mulrooney, M.D., who sees cancer patients in the Long Term Follow-Up Clinic, will be the speakers.
The program is part of the Cancer Center 's Ask The Expert series, offered as a community service to provide cancer survivors and others interested in learning more about cancer with an opportunity to get accurate information about cancer from University cancer researchers and physicians. The Cancer Center sponsors the Ask The Expert series in collaboration with University of Minnesota Physicians and the University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview.
Parking will be available on the street by McNamara Alumni Center and in nearby ramps. D'Amico's will cater light breakfast foods and refreshments, and information to take home will be provided.
